RFS Owner's Manual "Key Word Index"

Rev 07/20/05

If you have ever struggled through the Key Word Index in the back of your Owner's Manual, you will have quickly learned that it is a futile waste of time. I don't EVER recall seeing a more useless technical document! The listings are in no order that I can make out... so I reorganized the list using American terms and a normal person's logic.

 NOTES:

The blank column is for data entry particular to your personal bike(s). This allows you to record values like minimum brake pad thickness, suspension rebound setting or tire pressures. This makes for a very quick basic reference guide. Below is a short example from my own personal list:

Here is a link to the original Word document, so you can edit, add, or delete entries, as you wish. (For example, if you have an EXC, you can delete all the SX entries; if you have a USA spec bike, you can delete the Australian and European entries.) It "should be" virus free, but I can make no guarantees so please scan it before opening!
