Note that the 452/453 series rifles have various machine screw lengths. The wood screw is the same for all models. Be sure to tell Bob which model you have. If in doubt, remove and measure the two machine screws with a caliper and send him the measurements! Bob lives in Newman Lake WA, USA, close to Spokane. He does not include a Torx bit with the screws! You will need to find a bit or driver.

.22LR. The screws are beautifully machined and blued with Torx sockets.
Old screws to the left, new Torx screws to the right. I know which I like
better....

The new screws are installed and snugged to about 10 inch pounds (guesstimate).
They make the stock trigger guard look shabby..... now I need a nice aftermarket
unit.
